Rental Terms & Conditions (Summary)
Fuel Policy: Vehicles must be returned with a full tank. If not, the renter will be charged for the missing fuel plus a US$25 refuelling fee.
Vehicle Condition & Responsibility: Renters are expected to return vehicles in the same condition received (excluding normal wear and tear). Any damage or loss during the rental period is the renter’s responsibility, regardless of fault. This includes the replacement of lost or damaged keys.
Accidents: In the event of an accident, renters must:
– Contact local police immediately and file a report
– Notify DP Rentals promptly
– Avoid moving the vehicle unless it is unsafe to leave it
– Provide all necessary documentation
Traffic Violations: Renters are responsible for all parking tickets, traffic fines, tolls, and penalties incurred during the rental period. A US$100 administrative fee applies per violation.
Cancellations:
– Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup – Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows may incur a fee equivalent to 1 day’s rental No refunds for early returns
Personal Belongings: DP Rentals is not liable for any personal items left in the vehicle after return.
